Stavros Anestidis was born in 1960 in İstanbul. Upon graduating from the İstanbul French Saint-Michel Private High School, he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the Political Science Department of University of Athens. Since 2002, Anestidis works as the assistant manager at the Asia Minor Research Center. In his talk, he focused on the history of Asia Minor Research Center and the processes of collecting, cataloging and opening to the researchers the archival documents on the Rum populations of İstanbul and Anatolia.
